From its formation in 1998 the ATCP has worked as a recognised representative organisation for Altrincham and is involved at the highest level in town centre issues.

The Altrincham Town Centre Partnership is a not-for-profit organisation run by successful local business people who know and understand the problems and frustrations of Altrincham first hand and want to see it become once again the successful town is used to be. The ATCP is entirely independent of Trafford Council.

We work with others to arrange events and promotional activities and address concerns of businesses in the town. We provide input into strategic planning, consultation processes and planning applications affecting the town centre and work with the other town organisations: Altrincham and Bowdon Civic Society, Altrincham and Sale Chamber and Our Altrincham.

Our vision is to work together with businesses and local interest groups to influence the development of our town centre, being mindful of its heritage and seeking to encourage a fully integrated Altrincham which meets the needs of all its users.

 Our objectives are

To bring partners together to identify and tackle issues collectively.

To share information for the betterment of our town.

To increase the influence and membership of the Partnership.
